This Privacy Policy outlines how Blue Dignity ("we") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://bluedignity.org website ("Site"). This policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Blue Dignity.

Call Booking: When you book a call with our expert through the embedded calendar widget, we collect your email address, first name, and last name, along with the details of your scheduled meeting (date, time, and any notes you provide).

Non-Personal Data: We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. This may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users' means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Cookies: Our Site uses "cookies" to enhance User experience, for record-keeping purposes, and sometimes to track information about them. We use both essential cookies (necessary for the website to function) and non-essential cookies (for analytics, personalization, etc.). To send periodic emails: The email address Users provide will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to Blue Dignity, the Out of the Blue Movement, and its projects (e.g., Khoi San). It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include project news, updates, related product or service information, etc.
To schedule and conduct meetings: The information collected when booking a call is used to facilitate the scheduled discussion with our expert regarding any of our projects, potential partnerships, or sponsorship opportunities.
To improve our Site: We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
To promote our project and engage with partners/sponsors: The information helps us understand interest in our project and connect with potential collaborators and donors.

3. Legal Basis for Processing: We process your Personal Data in compliance with the conditions for lawful processing as set out in the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, and where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal bases include:
